The Josephine Volunteer Fire Department has officially transitioned to the
City of Josephine Fire Department.

We are excited about this change and the opportunities it brings to better support and serve our growing community. This transition allows for improved coordination, resources, and long-term service to the residents of Josephine.

Volunteer Firefighter Applications

All individuals interested in volunteering must apply online at:

Volunteer Requirements

  • Medical physical examination
  • Drug screening
  • Background check
  • Valid Texas driver’s license
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Training will be provided. Prior experience is welcome but not required.
