…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHERN COLLIN AND SOUTHEASTERN GRAYSON COUNTIES UNTIL 830 PM CDT… At 750 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Van Alstyne, or 14 miles south of Sherman, moving east at 20 mph. Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
