…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHWESTERN ROCKWALL… SOUTHWESTERN COLLIN AND NORTHEASTERN DALLAS COUNTIES UNTIL 500 PM CDT… At 356 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over near Plano, moving southwest at 10 mph. Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with this storm.

…THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN COLLIN COUNTY HAS EXPIRED… The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits. Therefore the warning has been allowed to expire. However gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for… Southwestern Collin County in north central Texas… * Until 345 PM CDT. * At 312 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Fairview, or near McKinney, moving south at 5 mph.
